Dola Dasgupta from Pune.

My daughter Gourika and son Ishaan (11 and 7) and I will be at Khandala for the conference. I and my family are radical unschoolers and travelers of life. Life is for us a new adventure each day. We learn together as a family and individually from
the whole of life and each other. Learning for us is personal and unique to each of us. In our life feelings, emotions and thoughts play a major role in guiding our lives.

I am a single parent and live in Pune. I have been unschooling my children for five years now. I facilitate and support the learning journeys of my children and also support and help other parents and children on similar paths. I am also a moderator for Swashikshan, the online community of homeschoolers from India and abroad.

Besides parenting and unschooling, I also write on deeper awareness and consciousness. I am a poet and took to poetry writing much later in life. I am also a prolific writer on Facebook, where I write about insights that come to me in deep awareness and engagement with life. I am trained in meditation and deeper contemplation and have my own daily practice. I trust that the Universe brings to us that which we truly need provided we stay in awareness of that need and align with our true calling and vision and pay heed to messages from our own spirit. I feel as long as the individual is in alignment with the larger good of humanity and all of creation…support comes magically from the Universe.

I will be available to talk to anyone who wishes to discuss attachment and spiritual parenting and unschooling and life in general. If you wish to know more about my views about life please read me on the following blogs.

P Aravinda
Aravinda is found most Sundays at the farmer’s market in Maharashtra Nature Park, drawing energy from the organic approach to life, learning, land and livelihood, and the rest of the week asking other homeschoolers to come there too. Among the thousand names for homeschooling, her new love is slow learning.

Hema, Ravi & Raghu Bharadwaj are an unschooling, whole-life-learning family.  Their son, Raghu, has never been to school (except for the 3 months of 3 hours/day preschool that he attended years ago). He is almost 10 years old.  Ravi and Hema stumbled into the big wide world of homeschooling, unschooling, radical unschooling and now what they like to call "whole life learning" because of Raghu.  They live in Pune and are happy to talk to families willing to go from control to connection.  Zoya is their 6 year old daughter.. who does not want to be presented here.  She would rather just enjoy the conference with her friends.

  1. Thanks for such an information about Homeschooling. New Homeschooling Parents searching for Online Homeschooling Platform in India can have a look at The Class Of One. They believe that learning isn't just about memorizing a few facts to gain marks, but about a rich and engaging experience that unleashes the love for learning in the child. Enroll your child in an Online Home Learning Platform that provides a Flexible and Structured Learning Experience to your child.
